Topics :
– Study of the glass state transition in atomic systems using self-consistent integral equation theory (TIE) and the replica method.
Work carried out in collaboration with Jean-Pierre Hansen (UK, Fr.) and Giorgio Parstore (It.).
– Study of aggregate formation (clustering) in globular protein solutions: determination of an entropy criterion (Monte-Carlo simulation, TIE).
Work carried out in collaboration with Jean-Pierre Hansen (UK, Fr.), Dino Costa (It.), Carlo Caccamo (It.) and Jean-Louis Bretonnet (Fr.).
– Development of analytical interatomic potentials for liquid metals (Mercury), using MC-type simulations (NVT, NPT, Gibbs ensemble).
– Study of structure at the liquid/vapor interface: layering phenomenon.
– Study of 3-body interactions in rare gases (molecular dynamics, TIE)
